Extended Season at The Lido!

The Lido is delighted to announce that we are going to extend our swimming season by one week and will now close on Sunday 17th September.

This is in response to huge public demand, so if you’ve ever told us you wished The Lido was open for longer in the year, now is your chance to prove the need for it and keep swimming!

In order to go some way to covering our costs, the last week will run slightly differently to our main season. The boilers will be turned off on Sunday 10th September and the pool will be cooler than normal. We usually operate around a very generous 29C and anticipate that the temperature will not fall more than 5C through the week. Wetsuits are welcome and the showers will still be hot!

We will operate a reduced timetable as follows:

Mon 11th - Fri 15th September

Early swim 6.30 - 8am

Public swim 4 - 6pm

Adults only 6 - 7pm

Sat 16th September

Adults only 10am - 12pm

Public swim 12 - 6pm

Sun 17th September

Adults only 10am - 12pm

Public swim 12 - 4pm

followed by dog swim - details to be announced.

Off-peak ticket prices will apply all week, plus there will be a week’s pass available giving unlimited swimming for only £15 for adults and £7.50 for children. Prices will apply to
season ticket holders as well as casual swimmers, as the season tickets are only valid to the end of the main season.

Please help us make our extra week a success! We hope it will be the first of many improvements we can offer to the Lido programme in the future.
