Family swim at The Lido

Changes from 19th July

With the imminent relaxation of national Covid restrictions, we are pleased to confirm what changes from 19th July.

All sessions continue to be pre-booked, online or by phone.

Our capacity remains the same in all early bird, adult and lane swims, and in our exercise classes. However, from 26th July the capacity of family swim sessions will increase to 60. Also, there will be a new spectator ticket allowing those who don’t want to swim to come in for less. (N.B. customers accompanying children under 8 must swim with them.) The toddler pool will open in family sessions from 19th July.

Thanks to our National Lottery/Sport England recovery grant funding, we have reduced child swim tickets by 50p. From 26th July the price of adult off-peak swims will also decrease by 50p. The funding has also assisted with the renovation of our café, which will open for the school holidays.

We ask that customers continue to wear masks when entering and leaving the facility. Please also keep coming to the pool swim-ready, as our changing rooms and the steam room will remain closed. As an outdoor venue, we feel that reopening our small indoor facilities would create unnecessary risk. For similar reasons, the slide will not return this year.

We continue to clean all poolside areas after each session and hand sanitising will still be freely available around the facility.

Finally, please respect that customers and staff may prefer to keep their distance from others in the pool and on poolside.
