Apart from our varied swim timetable, we offer many activity classes on our lawn, and the list is growing!
We are happy to announce Rhi’s new Sunday yoga class starting on 2 June.
This class will run at 9am every Sunday and promises a gentle morning yoga practice accessible for all. Please bring your own mat if possible. This is an outdoor class in the peaceful natural environment of the Lido’s grounds, and tented cover is provided in case of rain. The Lido café is open for refreshments after your class, or you could book a relaxing swim at 10.15am to complete your morning.
We are also delighted to be offering Beginners’ Pilates every Wednesday 2pm from June 12.
This will be a gentle Pilates class led by Alice Becker, suitable for beginners and those returning to Pilates after time away. This class will be available to book very soon, so please look out for it on our website.
And don’t forget we already run a range of classes, all of which are accessible to beginners.
Choose from Earlybird Yoga on Wednesdays at 7.30am, a restorative class of gentle flow sequences and breathing practices led by yoga teacher and therapist Nikki Jackson, or Tai Chi, a blend of gentle movement and meditation based on ancient Chinese practice and led by John Hickson of the Golden Flower School every Wednesday at 6pm. Your Tai Chi class includes a swim at the end of the evening. And we even offer SUP Yoga on certain Friday evenings throughout the season; challenge yourself to salute the setting sun while balancing on a paddleboard!
All Lido classes take place in the open air, in the water or under the trees on the Lido lawn, with a large tent canopy in case we need shelter from the weather. If you’d like to take extra advantage of your visit to us, there are always swim sessions timed around your class which you could choose to book, or you are welcome simply to relax on our lawn with a coffee from the café!
