It also has a café and a large tree-lined lawn, making it perfect for relaxing with a coffee, meeting friends, having a picnic or for an afternoon of family fun in a natural environment.

The Lido offers a mixed timetable including dedicated adult lane sessions for serious length swimming and open pool sessions for gentle relaxation, as well as a variety of water- and land-based fitness classes and activities.

We also offer individual and group swimming lessons, and embrace all learners and improvers, from the youngest to the most nervous non-swimming adult. Our goal is to help everyone to gain water confidence and to enjoy swimming safely, in a welcoming and friendly environment.

 You can pre-book tickets for all swim sessions and activities online or over the phone, but we are also happy for you to come along and pay on the door, subject to availability (please do call ahead to avoid disappointment).

The Lido has been run as a charity by the local community since 2004, when it was saved from closure. We are not here to make a profit, simply to preserve our lovely facility for the future.
