PRIVATE HIRE
Private hire of The Lido gives you exclusive use of the pools, the lawn and changing rooms, also a small indoor function room and marquee cover; it can include the café as well.
The Lido is available to hire privately outside public opening hours. We host birthday parties big and small, triathlon training and boot camps, school and community events. We are also a venue for TV and music video filming. We can help make your event a reality.
Saturday morning hires are our most popular private session for younger birthday and family group events. Running from 11.30am - 1.30pm, you do not need to make a hasty getaway but can stay on the lawn afterwards to finish your celebration. The café will be open for this session, and you can also bring your own picnic.
The cost is £265 for up to 55 guests.
Community group evening hire sessions are available Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 9.15pm and are suitable for all kinds of community group gatherings.

Weekend party hires start at 7.45pm on Fridays, and at 6.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
A two-hour session costs £295 for up to 55 guests, with the option to extend your hire later into the night.
For all hires, The Lido can provide floats and toys, and you are welcome to bring your own inflatables. You can play music through our speaker system.
Evening hirers may bring a BBQ for use on the lawn, or borrow our own charcoal BBQ (fuel not included). You are welcome to bring alcohol to private parties for private consumption, but no glass on site please. Be sensible: do not swim after you drink!
For evening hires, The Lido café will only be open by arrangement. We can cater for your event, serving a similar range of food and drink as we offer on our daytime menu, for a fixed number of guests at a fixed cost. If you’d like us to cater for you in the evening, please call or email the Lido office; we will arrange for the café manager to contact you and discuss your party.
All private hires are fully staffed and supervised by our team of Lido lifeguards. We look forward to discussing your event with you soon.
